Tucked away in the Santa Clarita Valley and surrounded by terraced hillside and ridgelines, Aliento is a natural oasis. It’s just far enough from the bustling crowds and city life, but close to all the things you can’t live without.
In the mood for a play or musical performance? Santa Clarita’s growing arts scene features the 886-seat Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center, which hosts an annual season line up of internationally acclaimed acts, as well as local performers. Santa Clarita is also home to two community theatres, the Canyon Guild Theatre and Repertory East Playhouse, which offer performances by some of Los Angeles’ up and coming acting talent.
And whether you’re hungry for a meal at one of the national restaurant chains or at a local favorite, there are dining options for every occasion. Choose from a variety of cuisines at dozens of award-winning restaurants in Santa Clarita and Valencia. From authentic Italian, Mexican, Japanese and Chinese, to casual fare like deep-dish pizza or burgers and fries, there’s something for everyone.
Families with students will appreciate Aliento’s proximity to great schools, including the acclaimed Golden Oak Community School, which is just outside the community’s gates. Also nearby is College of the Canyons–one of Southern California’s best community colleges.
There’s also plenty of shopping nearby. Up the street are Target, Kohl’s, Lowe’s, Bed Bath & Beyond, Staples, PetSmart and more. Costco and Stater Bros. Market are across the 14. And only nine miles away is the Westfield Valencia Town Center, which is home to more than 200 shops and restaurants, a movie theatre and a Gold’s Gym.
Aliento residents have close access to the Antelope Valley Freeway, Sierra Freeway and the I-5, as well as major roads, such as Golden Valley Road, making for easier, quicker commutes. It’s also just 20 miles to the Burbank airport, and just over five miles to the Santa Clarita Metrolink station for easy commuting to Union Station and downtown LA.
Enjoy the nearby attractions and activities that surround Aliento. At the end of the day, come back over the rolling foothills to rejuvenate at home. Take advantage of time at home with your family, with friends at the recreation center or gym, or get some alone time on the trails.
